XStudio is a beta

XStudio is still in development. Features can change, stop working or be removed, and you may run into bugs. It has been tested on a limited range of PCs, capture devices and graphics cards so far.

Don't rely on XStudio where a failed stream or a lost recording would cause you serious harm.

Your license to use XStudio

We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license, which we can revoke, to install XStudio on Windows PCs you own or control and to use it to create and stream your own content, including streams you earn money from. You may not:

• sell, rent, lend, sublicense or redistribute XStudio or its installer (share the link to the official download instead);
• copy, modify, decompile or reverse engineer XStudio, except where the law allows it despite this restriction;
• remove or change any copyright, license or attribution notices;
• use XStudio to break the law, infringe anyone's rights, or harm TikTok's services or its users.

XStudio is proprietary software. We keep all rights we don't expressly give you.

TikTok and other services

XStudio is independent software. It is not made, endorsed or supported by TikTok or its owners. XStudio works with TikTok's services in ways TikTok doesn't officially provide for third-party apps, so TikTok can change, limit or block this at any time, and using third-party tools may go against TikTok's own terms.

You are responsible for following TikTok's Terms of Service and Community Guidelines and for meeting its requirements for going LIVE. We are not responsible for anything TikTok does to your account, including limiting or suspending it.

Some features rely on other services with their own terms: Cloudflare (the optional upload test and this website), Microsoft (WebView2) and GitHub (downloads).

Your content

What you stream, record or show with XStudio is yours, and so is the responsibility for it. Make sure you have the rights to the games, music, video and other material you broadcast, and the consent of people who appear on your stream where the law requires it.

Open-source components

XStudio includes open-source software, such as GStreamer and shairplay, under its own licenses. Those licenses and the notices installed with XStudio (THIRD-PARTY-NOTICES.txt and the licenses folder) apply to those components and take priority over these terms where they differ.

Updates

We may release new versions. Older versions may stop working, especially if TikTok changes its services. We don't have to provide updates or support.

No warranty

To the fullest extent the law allows, XStudio and the website are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, including that they will be error-free, secure, uninterrupted, compatible with your hardware, or keep working with TikTok.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, followers or streams, or for actions taken against your TikTok account, arising from your use of XStudio or the website. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for XStudio, if any.

Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not all apply to you. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer that the law says can't be limited.

Ending these terms

You can stop using XStudio and uninstall it at any time. We may end your license if you break these terms; when it ends, stop using XStudio and uninstall it. The sections on TikTok and other services, your content, no warranty, limitation of liability and governing law keep applying afterwards.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We'll post the new version on the website and change the date at the top. If you keep using XStudio after a change, the new terms apply.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Philippines, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. If you live somewhere else, you keep any consumer protections your local law gives you.
